Sente is a five-year-old male galgo who is ready to find his perfect home! He joined American Greyhound after traveling from SOS Galgos in Barcelona, Spain last November. He is cat safe, selectively, and he is a bit timid of new situations and people. He spent his first few months in a foster home with a greyhound and another galgo, where he did well. He got along with both of them and enjoyed taking long walks with his foster siblings. Foster Mom described Sente as a shy boy who is quietly taking in all of the comforts of his new life! He was not a fan of bath time, and had some separation anxiety when left alone, even with other dogs.
Sente was adopted briefly but returned after he did not get along with one of the cats in his new home. While we still think Sente can go to a family with cats, the age and personality of the cat will make a difference on whether it would be a good fit. He is now in a new foster home, where he patiently waiting on the perfect adopter to scoop him up.
