Rambo is a galgo from Spain. He just recently made his big adventure over to the United States in May. He is a loveable boy but is very shy and timid; however, only two weeks into being with his foster family he has already shown much improvement in this area. Rambo walks well on leash and knows that it’s time to “do his business” when walked. He currently lives with cats and other dogs and gets along well with all of them. Rambo kennels well and seems to be comfortable in his crate. He is still working on stairs as they have proven to be a challenge for him. He has discovered stuffed toys and will play with them when the mood strikes. Due to Rambo’s shy demeanor, he would likely be best suited for a quieter home with older children. . Galgos require a commitment to leash walk or a 6ft + fence in their adoptive home. Galgos are known for their jumping and climbing abilities and it is possible that even a 6ft fence may not be secure for them. Each galgo is different in that respect and requires individual evaluation. If you’d like to learn more about adding Rambo to your family, contact our adoption coordinators.
