Pura is four-year-old female galga who came to American Greyhound from Scooby Medina shelter in Spain on May 8. Pura is a sweet girl, although she does not yet have many leash manners. When cat-tested, she was identified as “cat curious”. However, since joining her foster home, we’ve determined that she should live in a home without cats. Her curiosity is just too strong!
Pura gets along very well with her foster galgo brother, and they share the couch and food without issue. They also love to romp around together! This pretty girl loves toys and treats, and is great with kids, too. Pura’s walking skills could best be described as “needs improvement” (she does tend to pull), but she is a curious, friendly dog who enjoys exploring, so that’s to be expected!
Pura has excelled at crate-training, and sleeps through the night in her crate in the living room without issue. She is doing well with house-training, and has not had recent accidents in the house. If startled, she sometimes barks, but she is normally a quiet dog. Pura’s foster family says she is outgoing and very loving, making her a perfect fit for just about anyone!
Pura is adoption-pending!
Adoption Fee: $750
