Pilot is a 3-year-old retired racing greyhound who arrived from the UK in June to begin his new life here in the US! He loves going for walks and is great on a leash, so long as no squirrels distract him! Loud noises, barking dogs, and even fireworks don’t seem to upset him – he is a laid back, easygoing dog!
This handsome boy enjoys spending time with people, but is also fine being on his own in a kennel. He’s great at relaxing, and loves treats (who doesn’t?). Other interests include ear scritches and long, loving gazes into his gorgeous brown eyes.
Pilot’s foster family tells us he is a quite, curious, confident, friendly, happy-go-lucky boy looking for unconditional love and companionship. He has not yet been cat-tested, but seems to do well with small dogs. He has been an excellent guest so far, sleeping through the night in his kennel or dog bed and staying off the furniture (so far!).
Pilot is housetrained and crates well. They say he is eager to please and a quick learner!
