Lummox is a friendly, sweet greyhound who is just happy to be your best friend! He would do best in a home where his people (or person) are home most of the time. He enjoys spending time with his family and foster galgo brother. Lummox loves to be near his family and friends and will relax on the couch with you for hours.
In his foster home, Lummox has shown some anxiety when left home by himself for more than 4-6 hours at a time. While he does fine in shorter amounts of time, being home alone for 8+ hours daily causes him to worry. He would be best suited to a household where someone is home much of the time or willing to send him to doggy daycare with other dogs his size.
Lummox should go to a home without small dogs or cats. He walks well on a leash, but occasionally pulls when he catches sight of a squirrel or a stray cat. He can usually be deterred from the hunt by a firm no, and then going the other way.
In public, Lummy is the star of the show! He has no fear of strangers and loves to receive pets and attention from all people. He might even bestow a kiss or two!
