Joey

Kennel Name: Joey
Registered Name: n/a

male
DOB approx. 10/20/17
likely cat/small animal tolerant
AG # 2176

Joey is a lurcher that has completed The Greyhound Inmate Experience (TGIE) program. Joey is a very social boy. In fact, his handlers said he was the most social dog they have ever trained! He’s a very playful boy and would be wonderful for an active family. Joey is very affectionate dog. He’s a curious boy and does well with other dogs, the loud noises in the prison, as well as all of his grooming (nail trims, ear cleaning, etc.). Joey does not have an issue with hard floors or stairs. He did very well with his obedience commands and training. He is still working on his leash manners, but he does correct easily when walking. We recommend Joey to a home with older children. If you’d like to learn more about Joey, contact our adoption coordinators. To learn more about the TGIE program, visit: http://tgie-greyhounds.org/
