Lince is a galgo from Spain. He just recently made his big adventure over to the United States in May. Lince is still settling in to his foster home and learning life is good. He is coming out of his shell and definitely has some fire and attitude in his eyes, but doesn’t feel comfortable yet asserting his personality. He will need a home that is willing to be patient as he overcomes his fears. Lince tested well with cats while in Spain, but he is currently only living with another Galgo in his foster home. Lince is quiet and kennels nicely but he is still working on gaining confidence while walking on leash. He is shy and reserved but his personality is just waiting to emerge. Galgos require a commitment to leash walk or a 6ft + fence in their adoptive home. Galgos are known for their jumping and climbing abilities and it is possible that even a 6ft fence may not be secure for them. Each Galgo is different in that respect and requires individual evaluation. If you’d like to learn more about adding Lince to your family, contact our adoption coordinators.
