All dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped; up-to-date on vaccinations; and have been recently screened for heartworm and other parasites. We make every effort to be transparent about any prior or current medical conditions, injuries, or illnesses that we are aware of, and will provide a copy of available vet records at time of adoption. We cannot make any guarantee regarding a dog’s health, including regarding the accuracy or completion of vet records prior to the dog’s time under the care of American Greyhound. We recommend that adopters make an appointment shortly after adoption, at their own expense, to establish care locally and to have a veterinarian conduct a full examination.
