Palomo is a Spanish galgo who recently turned 6! He is good with cats and other greyhounds, as well as kids. He has been doing well since arriving in foster care, although is still an early riser – he will get up around 5:00 am or so and urgently need to go outside. He walks well with a leash but would run if spooked or given the opportunity, just like most galgos, so it is important to hang on tight!
Palomo’s foster family says he is a great dog all around but still coming out of shell. He is not sure about some of the new experiences he’s had, like fireworks, or being crated, and will bark to let you know how he feels. Once he’s spent time with you, he loves getting pets, and he always enjoys treats no matter what kind. He is not a big fan of strangers, and takes time to fully trust. His foster family things he would enjoy having a big fenced yard to run in. He is a very sweet boy, and is looking for an adopter who will be patient as he continues to let his personality show!
More details will be shared once Palomo arrives in the US, but you can still complete your adoption application today!
Adoption Fee: $750
