Lummox, formally known as Plaza Lummox, is a five-year-old male retired racing greyhound from the UK. He is described as being sweet, calm, and happy. His foster family says he favors squeaky toys, and likes to carry them around. Lummox also loves to do the “greyhound lean” and is a typical laid-back greyhound. He is housebroken, and walks well on a leash. He does not pull, and will go at your pace. In fact, he even will jog with you for a bit if you want him to!
This sweet boy enjoys everything from a leisurely walk to a fast-paced trek around the neighborhood, so he will adapt to your needs. He does like to check out the kitchen counter, but is easily corrected with a “No”. So far, he has shown no interested in getting on the bed or the couch, but could easily become a couch potato if allowed! Lummox cannot be adopted into a house with small dogs or cats – his prey drive is very high since he is a retired racer.
