Seamie (Seamie Boy) is a retired racing greyhound from the UK who arrived to the US on May 1! Despite being 75 lbs, he is “a very chilled lad” according to his kennel. He is 4 1/2 years old, with a birthday on September 20. He completed his 77th and final race in March 2025, so he has only been retired a short while. His racing owners simply decided it was time for Seamie to head off to enjoy his retirement, even though he was happy right through his last race. He is described as great on a leash, although a bit strong at times, and “a joy in the kennel”. He loves his food. At times, he likes to have his own space. He has never had an issue with any dogs, including the smaller breeds, but has not been completely tested. He also will need to be cat tested once arriving in the US.
