BILLY
Billy will be 3 years old in April.  Nothing brings Billy down as he is simply happy all the time, with his tail wagging non-stop. He LOVES running in the
yard, squeaky toys, soft cushions and cow hooves. Billy is fine with small animals but because of his issues, he needs to go to a family with older kids
(no kids shorter than he is).

Billy was retired from racing in April of 2009 because he had a seizure during his race.  He did not have any other seizures until June and that weekend
he had many of them in clusters.  That is when he started taking Phenobarbital to help control the seizures.  After we got his med levels figured out, he
again was seizure free until September and again had 2 more in December of 09.  We are currently working with his vet to get these under control.  No
animal with epilepsy will ever be seizure-free but with proper meds, things can be controlled.

The family that chooses to bring William into their lives and home needs to understand that he will need medications for the rest of his life and his life
may be shorter than others because of this.  But in the many years that you will have Billy, he will bring you lots of joy, kisses and laughter as he is
quite the character.  Billy enjoys life to the fullest every single minute of every single day.  You will not find a happier guy anywhere.
