Mulan is coming along very well with her training. Sometimes she is easily distracted, but her trainer
always manages to bring her back to focus on the task ahead. She loves getting attention and just likes
everybody she meets. She gets along wonderful with the other greyhounds, but is still a little shy and
unsure about playing with them. She is a very mellow girl, that tolerates getting bear hugs and does
also not mind if you touch her food while she is eating. She will probably be a great buddy for any kid
out there!

American Greyhound has partnered with "2nd Chance at Life", a prison foster program for retired racing greyhounds.
2nd Chance at Life (SCAL) places retired racers, directly off the track, into their prison foster program for obedience
training and socialization. They receive ten weeks of training from two inmate caretakers and leave as good canine
citizens.
SCAL greys require a $300 adoption fee to support the program.
